The Baguio United Football Club celebrates with the Saint Louis University soccer team after the finals of the Baguio Open Centennial Soccer Tournament at the Melvin Jones football grounds last may 30-31. Phantom of the Lake
Burnham Lake took center stage last weekend with brightly colored-bedecked themed boats participating in the Fluvial Parade, followed by an impressive performance for the "Phantom of the Lake" opera with parts played by distinguished local artists, capped in the evening by an awesome fireworks display. At right, one of the participating boats depicts an early vintage Baguio-scene.

Baguio Centennial Indie Filmfest On
BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — As a prelude to the centennial celebrations of Baguio and in support to the city’s promotional campaign as a center for culture and the arts, ground works are being laid for a digital film festival for independent filmmakers. Art Tibaldo, a media specialist and television segment producer volunteered to spearhead said film fest in coordination with the programs committee of the Baguio Centennial Commission.
